Development of springs for ceramic filters (1988)
Easy assembly! Development case of springs made of shape memory alloy for ceramic filters.
This is an introduction to the "spring for ceramic filters" developed in 1988. Ceramic filters are devices used to select and receive radio waves. The conventional ones had a very difficult assembly process for the internal springs, but by changing to springs made of shape memory alloy, assembly has become much easier. By deforming the parts into an easily assemblable shape and then heating them to return to their original shape, they can be assembled easily.
